About #ThisIsAfrica Fest

The first edition of the annual festival dedicated to African, Caribbean and Afro-European music and culture is scheduled to come off in Atlanta, Georgia in July 2022.

#ThisIsAfrica Music and Culture Festival aims to be the preferred reference-point for Africa’s biggest players in arts, music and tourism; while using music as tool to promote unity and the development of our continent.

Key highlights of the 2-day festival:

DAY 1 JULY 3

ThisIsAfrica_Fest Dinner is a strictly-by-invitation Ball & Honours Event targeting a maximum of 500 Executive Guests. Event is to promote entertainment, networking and unity, as we highlight and attempt solutions to major issues of the continent. Aspect of this event will acknowledge generational-thinkers and innovative young Africans from across Africa and the world who have been essential in the promotion of the Africa agenda around the world.

DAY 2 JULY 4

The Main Festival which is open to all, at very affordable fee (€10) will be directed by one each of Europe’s and Africa’s finest event directors. It will consist of:

  • The African Sound Stage, which will bring together artistes from all over Africa, Europe and the UK and the Caribbeans (Jamaica, Trinidad and Tebago, Cuba, Brazil) etc. This open-air live performance event will feature some of Africa’s biggest names in music, dance, comedy and more.
  • AfroMart - Will feature booths or exhibition stands bearing the capital cities of respective African Countries (eg. Abidjan, Accra, Johannesburg, Adis Ababa, Lagos etc), displaying culturally-relevant literature materials, artefacts, crafts and services; mainly to promote cultures and tourism of said countries.
